Daily Homework:
Read: 30 minutes or more daily! Math: Complete the math sheet assigned for the night which is reflective of what we learned in class that day. If there is a test, there will be no math homework. Word Study/Vocabulary: Monday and Tuesdays will be dedicated to completing the first and second page of homework within the packet respectively. However, make sure to study and learn the vocabulary list throughout the week. Try to target 3-4 words a night. Tests will be given on Friday. Social Studies: Occasionally, a worksheet from the Social Studies Homework and Practice Book will be assigned. Refer to the calendar. Projects: There will be monthly projects based on particular literary genres or subjects we will be learning and discussing. I will send home a sheet explaining my expectations along with a rubric for grading them at the beginning of the month and students will have the entire month to work on and complete them. You will find the same information below. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE - "Failing to plan is planning to fail". |
