Science Non-fiction Research Report
For the January book report project read a different SCIENCE non-fiction book that has at least 50 pages of text. If the book is shorter than this, get it approved by Mr. Schreiber right away. For this project, you are to create a display showing ideas, facts, and images about the subject of your book. Your display should be at least the size of large construction paper (available from the class). You may use more information from other sources (books and appropriate websites) if you would like, but you must write down those other sources and get them approved by Mr. Schreiber. You must also NOT copy things from the internet and cut and paste them onto your project; this is PLAGERIZING and is not acceptable (pictures are ok). You must put ideas from your book(s) into your own words.
Your finished project must include the following information in some form: A display with ALL items listed blow. The display can have all the items on it or you can have a few items and attach a typed report with it if you'd like. It might be easier to have some pieces on the display and attach the others on a written report, but I leave that up to you to decide. We'll discuss some strategies to organize your project in class. We will then schedule a time the following week to present our posters in class. I look forward to your work.
